This story is about the 3 lives of a greyhound.  As Best Mate he had a rough start in life, As Brighteyes he was a champion and as Paddywack he learnt the real meaning of companionship.

This story written by Michael Morpurgo is an emotional roller-coaster with a surprise ending.

    I thought that this book was great because it was all about friendship and having fun.

    I loved this book when my class read it because it is quite a surprise at the end. I’d recommend this book too. I hope you enjoy.

    This is by far the best class novel we have read this year. I agree with Freddie that the ending was a surprise, but I think everything works for the best. Read this book, it’s awesome!

    I really enjoyed this book because there is a a kind of a cool twist. This was our first class novel. If you have read it and you think its awesome then rate it a five star and if you haven’t do please read it, it would be so nice if you could.

    I liked this book because it’s amazing how many adventures and lives this greyhound has. It’s a bit sad but it’s a really nice friendship story.

    I love this book I have even got at home because it’s good so I think who ever likes the sound of it should get a copy of it and read it. I think I will give this book 5 stars.

    I think born to run deserves seven stars because it nearly made me cry at the end and I loved it and I will not forget what happened at the end. I really want to get the book.
