Parent Teacher Association

Our active Parent Teacher Association (PTA), raises much appreciated funds for the school throughout the year through their organisation of a variety of fundraising opportunities. Events that our PTA regularly organise include the Summer and Christmas Fairs, Secret Santa, pamper evenings, parent quiz nights, pupil discos and school uniform sales.

Thanks to the PTA’s fundraising, over the past few years the school has been able to buy new laptops for the classrooms, adventure play equipment for Years 5 and 6, and a pirate ship for the Early Years/Key Stage One playground. Contributions have also been made towards the children’s kitchen.  Currently funds are being raised to provide a range reading books across the school.

All parents/carers are automatically members of the PTA, so if you are interested in joining the committee or finding out more about what the PTA does, please contact us by e-mail to staplehurstschoolpta@gmail.com.

The committee meets every six weeks at 7:30pm at the school. Extra meetings are held in preparation for the big events for those who want to get involved. All parents/carers are welcome to attend the annual general meeting which takes place in the Autumn Term.

The PTA would not be able to run its fundraising activities without the help of parents so please do offer your support whenever you can.
