The Parent Council

The Parents’ Council was formed in October 2017 after the decision was made to create a new Council with fresh ideas and new members from across the school. It is held every term, meeting at least 6 times a year, and is run by Fran Zimber (Business Manager) and Victoria Laslett (Inclusion Team). Both Mrs Zimber and Mrs Laslett are school Governors so discussion points and agreed actions can be directly fed back to the Governing Body.

The Council provides the perfect opportunity for parents to raise matters for whole school improvement and make a really positive impact on the pupils experience at Staplehurst School. If you have any suggestions for topics you think the Council could discuss, please do email these through to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or contact one of your parent representatives – Katie Higgins, Lesley Manners, Caroline Bay, Emily Clark, Donna Lipscomb and Alex Leeds.

Please note the Council only discusses whole school matters and any issues relating to a specific child/experience/concern should be relayed to the class teacher in the first instance.
