Staplehurst School went Harry Potter mad today to celebrate World Book Day, with a themed day based around the popular children’s books. The children dressed up as witches, wizards or muggles (non-magical person) and the teachers planned a whole day of activities based around this wonderful magical world, including brewing potions, writing spells and flying around on broomsticks playing quidditch. All children were given a World Book day voucher to exchange for one of a range of exciting books.
The end of the day we welcomed parents into the Junior Hall to see an exhibition of the children's fabulous work.
