Year 2 have enjoyed exploring 'Handa's Surprise as our text this week. We read the story together then re-told the story using a story map. We concentrated on using interesting adjectives to describe the fruit in Handa's basket and the naughty animals she meets on the way. Finally we wrote the story in our own words.
